"Where did fall Go"

These past two weeks have been so crazy.... last week it was still pretty warm feeling but everyone knew fall was here. This week it started raining while I was at work. I so badly wanted to go outside and be in the rain... I got my wish! As soon as I got off work I went outside and began walking home just like every other day... but this day was different.. it was wet... and very cold.... something in side me told me the weather was going to be changing soon. It continued to rain that day and part of the next day when about lunch time I happened to look outside and see little white balls of frozen water falling to the ground. I am from Colville Washington you can try to imagine how shocking this was too me.... for in Washington we usually don't get snow until thanksgiving and sometimes not until December!

Today I had my nieces and nephews that live here over for a slumber party. Although it was cold we were able to have a fun time and keep warm:) We watched movies and ate popcorn & treats.... and of course stayed up till mid-night.... crazy if i may say so myself:) In the morning with the help of my sister Codi... I made pancakes, sausage, eggs and we had orange juice! We played a "DOG" a game my older made up when I was younger. It's basically like hide and seek except that you have to get to a different destination with out the dog getting you:) they really had a lot of fun with this game.. just like I thought they would! It continued to be cold that day so we all tried to keep bundled up.

Although you can still see the tree's changing colors this is like no fall I remember for it feels like November too me Burr! It has stopped raining now which is nice.. we are all hoping for some warmer days here this week as well:) sorry i have no pictures of these happenings!

Change "N" Plans

One of the last things I posted was about the Dance Festival. So yesterday we went to the Parade and little shops on the side of the street it kind of is like the Rendez-vous in Colville. Anyways we were there an hour and a half before the parade.. so when the parade started we only got to see a little of it because it started to rain and the people and the parade had to run for it so that their costumes wouldn't get destroyed. We decided that we better run for it especially because Leilani has a cold. We were almost to the Smith park and soaked, but a nice lady stopped to give us a ride two to three blocks back to the apartment.

For the past month I have had a haircut on the brain.... well after I got back from the parade soaking wet I looked for haircuts and this is what I choose. I was kind of shocker because I have been growing it out for a year or so now. Anyways I really am happy to have short hair. I love long hair but I think shorter hair suits me very well, and I have been told that too. I can't stop touching my hair.. I love it so much.

Life in Rexburg in big "I"

Can you believe it I have been in Rexburg for three weeks, and so much has already happen!
I have started gong to the adult Sunday class at church and I started going to Relief Society. It really doesn't feel that different:) This last Sunday at church I got mu first assignment.... Visiting teaching. I am excited for that, but I am also so nervous for it will be my first time going and teaching the lesson.
This last week we also Celebrated my brothers Tyrell's Birthday. My cousin Dustin and his family were going to be there but we missed him Darn. we were looking forward to seeing them! The same day we celebrated Tyrell's Birthday I got a call to go to a McDonald's for an interview. They were impressed by me and told me so and on the spot gave me the Job. I start orientation on august 9th.
This week on Saturday My sister Codi and her kids and I went to Fongs and then up to the Gardens to have a picnic. It was kind of cloudy but it was still a beautiful day and we enjoyed getting out. After we ate we went down to the Stadium where the Dance festival was going on. There were some fun dances. The funny thing was during the festival Codi looked over and saw someone and asked me if it was Jesse Shewell... sure enough it happened to be Jesse and his parents. We said hello and talked for a few minutes. The Shewells are from Colville 1st ward. It was fun to see them and so weird at the same time. when you move away you don't really suspect to see anyone from where you lived before unless you go back for a visit. So when you run unto someone it takes a minute to sink in. ha ha :) Anyways this week the dance festival will be going on. Tonight they go out on the main street in Rexburg and dance in a parade sort of way.
Tressis has introduced me to some of the single adults. i went and played basketball and had FHE with them one night another night i went star gazing with a fun girl Named Britney and a Boy named Ryan and then with Tressie It was a lot of fun.
Anyways there is some of the things i have been up too.

"REXBURG IDAHO?"

That's right I am moving to Rexburg. It was something I wanted to do this fall, and then I changed my mind to going in august but a few days ago I decided that I was going to move down sooner. how much sooner?.. well tomorrow On Tuesday i will get on a bus to Rexburg an I will be in Rexburg on wed. So with the help of my parents i got a bus ticket and all the necessary things for a person who will be living with roommates. only that my roommates will be my Sisters Codi and Tressie and my two nieces Napua and Leilani. Which i am so excited for. I am of late applying to BYUI for the winter track and hope to be excepted. This is a big change and another Adventure that can be added to my life:) I know at times it may not be easy and I might want to stop but I know that it is worth it and with the help of my savior and family and friends I will be able to make it through any hard times that I may have.

InDePeNdEnCe DaY:)

This Year my sister Dana and I was house sitting for a family friend from the Ward. We were out at their place on the 4th. So Kylie, Jake, and the girls came with Mom,Dad,and the kids to the house that we were house sitting at. We played some card games, the kids rode the Horse swing which they just loved, we played some Wii tournaments, rode the Four wheeler some, and we had a nice BBQ. Everyone seemed to be having lots of fun. After all that fun we went back into Town to the Nichols house where they gave us some ice cream to eat while we watched the fireworks. I thought we had a nice Independence day. I just wanted to add to this post that I am so thankful for all the man and women who fight for our freedom every day. I am so happy to be in a free country were I can worship how I want. So thank you all who have made this possible.

CaMpOuT:)

The young Kids wanted their Awesome Big sister Me A.K.A (Achsah) to sleep out side with them. It isn't always a favorite of mine to sleep out side especially when I have a nice warm bed inside waiting for me to sleep in. It was kind of a weird day it would be sunny and then cloud up and rain for a while and then get sunny again. So I wasn't all too sure about sleeping out when i wouldn't be in a tent. So i found some tarps and yarn and with the help of the two younger scouts in my family, tied the tarps up across the front porch so that if it rained we wouldn't get wet, instead it would hit the tarp and run off the sides on to the ground. The two younger girls made their own. it kind of made me laugh because if it rained it would run right down into the middle and then off the sides on to them, but they did a good job making it on their own:) We talked some and looked at the stars through the holes between the railings. It ended up not raining until the next morning at 6:00 in the morning. so i just clean up the bedding and went inside! It wasn't to bad of a night so I hope that it made my brother and sister's day or night in this case:)

"Did I Hear Someone Say 80's"?

Saturday We had a Stake dance and the theme was 70's or 80's and I went with 80's
I don't normally dress up for for the dance theme's but it was fun to do my hair and makeup and find clothes that looked 80's.
Of course I didn't live in the 80's so I had to get ideas from my parents and from the Internet helped Dana do her hair and make up as well. We both had fun. I was a little bumbed out that pretty much the rest of the Stake was lame because they didn't dress up:(
Oh well I still had fun:)

G.E.D?

That is right i have passed all my G.E.D tests.... except writing... i have no idea what my score is for the writing one, but i felt like i did as good on it as my science test, so i assume i did pass! I will received my score in a few days! As of know in my heart and my mind I am a graduate. So until I have been proved that I didn't pass I am going to keep saying I am a graduate!
Let me tell you it is a relief that I am done taking tests for now. I get really bad test anxiety!
Yesterday My mom told me She knew i had passed all my tests and that i tried my hardest and that we needed to go out and celebrate:) so my Dad and Mom took me to Arby's which here is now called Martha's. i had one of those mouth watering...super delicious Philly and Swiss sandwich with yummy Curly fries:) SO thanks Mom and Dad for always being there for me. i couldn't of done it with out you and also i know i couldn't of done it with out Heavenly Father!:)

The first night Deidra and michelene's family greeted us and we visited. The next day we went to Deidra's and she took us up to the BYUI campus. We checked out the new conference room... it was very nice in that building:)! This is also when Tyrell had decided that he was going to stay in Rexburg and Find a job and go to school!

Brielle is really cute too she tells the cutest stories and says the cutest prayers. She has changed so much since the last time i saw her in fact all of my Nieces and Nephews have grown up so much. Anyways we said our good byes and went back to Deidra's place we mostly just visited the rest of the day. Sunday We picked Brandon up so that he could go to church with us. he was introduced to all my family that was there. We also had the best Brownies ever and i am not much of a brownie fan but they were good:)! we left Rexburg about 2:00pm and headed back for Washington. it was a long ride home but it wasn't nearly as bad it was going there! It was a very fun visit thanks to all who house us and feed us :D!
